Thrust Ball Bearings

Thrust ball bearings are separable bearings. The single-acting thrust ball bearing consists of a shaft washer, a housing washer, and a ball set with cage. The double-acting type consists of a shaft washer (centre washer), two housing washers, and two ball sets with cages. Thrust ball bearings can be a valuable solution for applications requiring pure axial loads or combined axial and radial loads, where radial loads are relatively small. The separable design allows for easier installation and removal, as well as maintenance and inspection, without the need to dismantle adjacent machine components. This makes thrust ball bearings particularly suitable for applications where frequent adjustments or replacements are necessary.

Thrust Ball Bearing With Outside Band

Thrust ball bearings with outside band are suitable for use in exposed locations that require protection from dust, dirt, water or other foreign matter. The balls are held between two hardened steel races that are tied together by a mild steel or brass sleeve on the outer diameter.
